MONKS OF PHODONG GUMPA ON KARMAPA RALLY 2010

This pictures are taken  during the karamapa rally  at Gangtok,Sikkim organised by karamapa reception committee.the monks in this picture are from phodong monastery,north-sikkim which follow kagyu order and this monastery is considered as one of the oldest monastery in sikkim.

This monastery was recently opened  to foreign tourist who want to visit this monastery and it is only 35km from Gangtok,an about 2hours drive along the north-sikkim highway.
