Sikkim is the land of high mountains that seem to touch the heavens and define paradise of nature.Sikkim has 28 mountain peaks and more than 80 glaciers.The world third highest mountain,Mt.Kanchendzonga(8586m)is in Sikkim.The summit of Kanchenjunga is the highest point which can been seen from almost all part of Sikkim and it falls on the border between Sikkim and Nepal.The two main mountains in Sikkim are singilela range on western border and chola range on eastern range.Most of the peaks in Sikkim remained unscaled because locals considered them sacred and they feels that if it is climed they would loose sanctity.
