The headquater of south-district is namchi and it is 90km from gangtok well connected by road.The nearest airport is bagdogra airport and the nearest railway station is N.J.P railway station.South sikkim is emerging as favourite tourist destination in   sikkim in the field of pligrimage tourism,village tourism,bird watching tourism and adventure tourism.

2.Char dham-hindu pligrimage site-6km from namchi.

5.Ralong monastery-20km from rabongla
6.Temi tea garden-25km from namchi-on the way to namchi.
